Authorship: ELÍAS SALABERRÍA (Lezo, 1883-Madrid, 1952)
After studying naval engineering in England, Andonaegui started up a shipyard in Pasajes in 1908, which came to employ 150 workers, launching ships of 500 tons. In the 1920s, he turned his attention to fishing, with a fleet of 14 deep-sea vessels. Its trajectory was awarded the Order of Naval Merit.
